RYA Shorebased Training Courses
Our RYA shorebased courses are run over five days or two weekends at our Southampton base or we are able to use other locations if more convenient to you.
You will receive course notes and high quality shorebased training from dedicated, knowledgeable RYA instructors in a modern training environment
Your involvement is maximised in all aspects of the course using open discussion, instructional video and computer simulations as key learning aids.

The perfect introduction or refresher for anyone going afloat as skipper or crew of a small craft such as RIB, sportsboat etc |

An essential minimum for skippers of yachts and motor cruisers - no previous knowledge required |

Recommended for offshore passages. The assumed level of knowledge before starting this course is the Day Skipper Shorebased syllabus |

Recommended for ocean passages. Assumes a working knowledge of all subjects covered in the other shorebased courses |
